What if I need to reschedule?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice when rescheduling a lesson. Makeup credits do not expire while you remain an active student.
What if I need to stop lessons?
Please give two weeks’ notice to cancel lessons altogether. Our front desk can explain the process.
Is the trial booked instantly?
No. Your trial request starts a conversation with our front desk. The team follows up to help with a teacher match and arrange a time.
Can adults and complete beginners start?
Yes. MBMS welcomes different ages and experience levels. Tell us who the lessons are for and what you hope to learn so the team can help find a suitable fit.
Are music production and ukulele offered at both studios?
Ukulele is offered in Allen and Frisco. Music production is offered in Frisco only.
Are band and Jam Sessions the same thing?
They are presented separately. Band is a $45/month program. Ask the team about current Jam Sessions and community activities, including availability and any costs.
How do I choose a teacher?
Start with the instrument and studio that suit you, then explore the teachers’ backgrounds. The front desk confirms a match and current availability.
What ages can start?
The right starting point depends on the learner and instrument. Tell the front desk who the lessons are for so they can help you find a suitable starting point.
Do I need to buy an instrument first?
Ask the studio about equipment before buying. The appropriate setup depends on the instrument, the learner and how they will practice.
How much should I practice?
Discuss a manageable routine with your teacher. A useful practice plan depends on your goals, experience and available time rather than a universal number of minutes.
