YOUR NEXT MOMENT ON STAGE
Winter Recital.
December 13, 2026.
Bring a piece you are proud of and take your next step on stage. All current MBMS students are welcome, across every age, instrument, and skill level.
The deadline
Register online by Monday, November 30. Submit any special timing requests by the same date.
The time
Approximately noon until 6 or 7 p.m. This is an estimated event window, not your assigned performance time.
A performance time that brings everyone together.
We’ll divide students into multiple performance groups and keep siblings together. After registration closes, we’ll finalize assignments and email your specific performance time the week before the recital.
Registration fee: $40 per student, per performance.
The fee is non-refundable and based on initial registration. If you cancel or withdraw, the $40 fee will still be charged. Fees help cover the venue and event costs we commit to in advance, so we can offer high-quality, enjoyable performance opportunities.
One registration per student. No payment is collected through this form.
FEEL READY FOR YOUR MOMENT
More about
these events.
A recital is a chance to turn practice into a shared experience. Work with your teacher on music you enjoy, build confidence, and celebrate your progress with family and friends.
A welcoming venue
The Cox Theater is in historic downtown Plano, with parking available in the lot next to the theater. This is our recital venue; music lessons continue at our Allen and Frisco studios.
Register online, plan ahead
All registration is online. Register early to help us plan the performances. Registration and special requests close November 30.
If you need an early performance or a time after a particular hour, tell us when you register. Requests are considered but cannot be guaranteed. We cannot make changes after November 30.
Come as yourself
Dress up or keep it casual—choose what helps you feel comfortable and ready to perform. Memorizing music is encouraged, but never required.
Bring your cheering section
Guests attend free, with no tickets or admission fees. Beginners and experienced musicians alike are encouraged to share their music.
